yes, only older versions of firefox will load IHG with the xpinstall signature toggled off, There is palemoon, which loads IHG well...

also, there is ingding that works with the newer firefox revs.

you will need to do a little googling to get palemoon loaded from the repo in linux, a little copy/paste action in the terminal window will need to be executed... i will look for an easy link...

No, it's impossible. None of all old addons will work in new Firefox Quantum (version 57 and further). As you can see, Mozilla entirely removed all incompatible addons from their repository addons.mozilla.org

There is analogue of IHG for Firefox Quantum: Host Grabber ++

AFAIK IHG doesn't work on newer FF versions. Try Waterfox.

Is there a current host file edit to get pimpandhost working? I have two entries in my host file. One is labeled pimpandhost. The other is labeled pimpandhost.com

Thumbnails load, but the fullsize pics return file not found.

I checked out halvar's custom host file, but for the moment pimpandhost is not currently in the code listed.

I'm running FF38.0.5 with IHG 1.7.0.4b

This is really embarrassing. I accidentally dropped imgbox, pixhost and pimpandhost from my host file. Thank you for noticing and reporting. I added them back again:

I just looked into it.
Fixing the hostfile is not enough. Even with a working hostfile I only get some images (about one of five).
Radikal seems to check if you have accessed the image page before they let you download the image. Sometimes grabbing the image works, but most times not. I am not sure how they do this. It is probably possible to circumvent this, but I do not know if it is possible within the restrictions of IHG hostfile.

As radikal.ru is rarely used here, I do not think it is worth the effort.
Let's hope the large image hoster don't start behaving like this.
