It's emphasizing them that is politically correct. The advertisers would do well to remember that despite the mass immigration thrust upon us, the UK is still mainly made up of non-muslims. If that's how Tesco want to play the game my Christmas will be an Iceland/Morrisons Christmas.

At the end of the day, my wallet will be the ultimate judge to decide where I'll shop - besides I hate most Christmas ads (be it Judeo-Christian or PC) anyway...

So I'm sorry Paddington, John Lewis, Tescos, etc. I'll be switching the TV next time you're on:

[EDIT] There is one other point I'd like to add however:
Next year's Remembrance Sunday will be on Sunday 11th November 2018 - marking the date 100 years ago, in 1918, on which the Great War came to an end.
As a gesture of respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, it would be nice if the usual TV screening of Christmas adverts were delayed until the following Monday.....

Bring back Woolworths and their Christmas ads. Amazing to see what modern technology looked like back then. Not a hijab in sight either.

I thought the old man was going to have a heart attack at the close of the advert...

People in Britain should remember that they celebrate the birth of some guy in the Middle East.

Well,Not really,The Christians hijacked the old Pagan Midwinter festival,Hence the tree and the holly even father Christmas is derived from the Germanic god Wodan/Woden/Odin.

Wasn't Mohamed from the Middle East? And all the Hindu pantheon lot slightly further east?
...and Buddha about the same geographic location...?
