Having a small refreshment whilst I lose my money at a Breeders Cup party. However the Champagne and Prosecco is on Ice and it will be opened in a couple of hours. Win or Lose.

If soft drinks and beer can be refrigerated to taste better, why can't scotch, bourbon, blended whiskey, vodka and other spirits be put into the refrigerator? I tried it and found that the scotch that I was drinking(Johnnie Walker Red) tasted better and smoother than it did when I had ice alone in the glass.

I guess Scotch and Bourbon are meant to be drunk at room temperature to taste it properly. As for Vodka there are certain northern European countries who don't just put it in the fridge they put it in the freezer. The first time I had it that way it was like a very thick slow running liquid but it tasted great. Maybe worth trying. Rum in the fridge is good as well.

I once read somewhere that a fine accompaniment to a chocolate dessert is chilled Johnnie Walker Gold. You should call the restaurant ahead of time so the scotch could be properly chilled.

I went to watch the Bills' game over at a friend's house. I filled a flask with Bushmill's Black Bush to nip on. Had a few nips on it last night. I couldn't finish it on Thursday, 'cause I had to drive.

After (In honour of our resident Canadian Trails ) , went to buy some of the syrup he recommend.

Which and without a word of an embellishment let alone outright lie , I quote

"Goes marvelous darling with Lean Cuisines "

He told me ,
so "Woohoo" thought (Hey I was bound to have a thought sometime) MaxJoker (Twice removed)

Until saw how much I`d have to fork out ,

Which is pricey even on a Mods wage

Even for a Mod who also fabricates expenses

Continuing on my quest for cheapness:

£3.08 for four 500ml cans in Asda, that’s a mere 87p a pint. Whilst I like the bonhomie of my local pub everything is from £3.20 a pint upwards.
It’s a perfectly acceptable French made lager despite the German references and mention of Dresdener style.
4.5% alcohol so a decent strength and goes down in a smooth and mildly hopped way.
