Theyr'e having a great season welderman.

This is what makes the league so interesting this season, Birmingham, Villa, Spurs, City, Sunderland and Fulham have all improved. IMO the Big 4 is no more. Makes it more interesting.

Hull
Wolves
Burnley

are my tips to go down.

United have had nearly 20 great years, thanks to Sir Alex, however I fear that the time has come for someone else to enjoy success.

The Glazers are killing the club I love, they have plunged us into debt for the last few years and now the pot is empty. But its times like these that make you appreciate the good times.

Money and greed is destroying our game.

Big money is killing the game...big clubs have the league administration in their pocket
Football isnt a sport its BIG BUSINESS

I find it sad that smaller teams in the premiership actually feel that their feeder clubs so before the January transfer window closes they will actually sell players who are in outstanding form for them to the bigger clubs if the price is right.Simply bizarre but it highlights how unsustainable clubs in the premiership really are.

Good example was a few years back

Fulham sold Louis Saha to Man U then promptly went to pieces because one of their main scoring aveunes was gone....In what other sport do you trade a star player mid-season?
For mine you pick your squad and maybe have some rookies as standbys for long term injuries but trading players mid-season is simply biazrre to me

For mine the rot really set in with football around the time that German Company that had monopolised the footballing TV rights went bust.....so many clubs had forward spent this money...i read one article that said there was only 1 club in the top 2 divisions in the England that was actually financially solvent

Scary stuff

They've got a chance, and I have to say `HELL YEAH!!` for the crowd.

But.....

If they get through the group and the second stage without too much drama, we should be in good stead.

Inglorious ... I am a life-long Nottingham Forest supporter and can remember myself the great days of "Best, Law and Charlton" (God ... I'm getting old!). United were always my 'second' team and I just loved the Wednesday night European games on the T.V. with Ronaldo running riot.

Unfortunately, it appears to me that United have never quite replaced Ronaldo (that's if you can?) and that the careers of a few of the others are coming to an end now.

I long for the day (hopefully next season?) when the fixture Manchester United v. Nottingham Forest comes around again. I/we have missed the 'big league' with its attendances, players, publicity and money (which we all need) and I fancy another 'Hotpot and Pint' in the city centre before the game (wow! think I am dreaming again ..... sorry!).

thanks for your thoughts.

Well, the way Forest are playing this season there looks to be every chance of them being back in the Premier League.

I think most football fans have a soft spot for Forest due to Cloughie.

Hi Welderman .... Blues Fan (congratulations! you just beat my team (Nottingham Forest in the Cup the other night .... boo hoo!).

Blues are doing really well now and I quite fancy a good cup run for you this season and probably top 10 finish in the league.

Best signing Forest ever made was a certain "Trevor Francis" (along with Kenny Burns of course). I have never seen to this day a player who can cross a ball from right on the goal line (away from the keeper) so often as Trevor (if Aquelani at Liverpool is worth 20 million then Francis would be the first 'billion pound player' now.).

Well done on your victory again the other night.
