Ripping Blu Ray discs in 2023?

I used to know how to do this, but the software tools I was using don't seem to work on this anymore.

Any tips for how rip a Blu Ray today?

It's been a long time since I've ripped anything, and only remember old programs that are outdated. I had a look around, and hope this helps.
Here's a link for ripping with the free program Handbrake.

Although they say Handbrake good, it has problems with fully encrypted DVD's, and they recommend Tipard Blu-ray Converter. This one isn't free, it costs $70.00.

I found this review site of the best Blu-Ray rippers of 2023. Give it a read.

MakeMKV looks pretty good, and it's free.
