Preacher--Season 3

Jesse Custer stays in the loving arms of his crazy grandma and her two adoring psycho hillbilly caretakers. Won't spoil it, but the weirdness continues as Jesse is still trying to get his soul back from Herr Starr and The Grail so that he can use Genesis. Without it he is powerless against his "kinfolk" who murdered his dad and mom. If grandma can revive Tulip, will this create a wedge between Jesse and Cassidy? What if the crazy hicks find out Cassidy is a vamp? What does Starr want in return for Jesse's soul? These questions are answered so far in the season. But I can reveal that...so far...NO Arseface, Hell, or Saint Of Killers stuff which is kind of disappointing but understandable. I think they want to develop Jesse's story a bit more. Plus it was cool seeing how the comic now has a version exclusive to the show.

YELLOWSTONE

Kevin Costner plays a modern day big rancher in Montana, who does whatever it takes to keep in control of all his land and everything...and everyone on it. He uses his children, the local government, strong arm tactics...he even brands the people who work for him! I love a good western, especially one where the chief character is such an antihero. Three episodes in, the first being an hour and a half movie. I'm effectively hooked. It's a lot like Legends Of The Fall...which itself was a lot like East Of Eden. But it's a series on Paramount. Lots of social issues and treachery abound. Won't spoil it anymore...but I do give it a thumbs up. B

I have the final episode of Season which is 1 1/2 hours long from 2 weeks ago and I haven't even touched it.
Well, I'd say watch it because it is FUCKING EPIC. It is much better than previous episodes. It's like the whole idea of season 2 was this 10th episode, and they had to think of a way to fill in the other 9

Once you get to learn the different timelines, it's not that hard; depends on how each viewers' minds work. Even the smarter ones will get lost, because their minds will be looking for answers on every detail, in every scene, instead of letting themselves get carried away by the story. Of course the writers should be doing a better work along the way so viewers don't stop watching.

I guess she meant the park. Is William in a host body? Looks like that. I'm thinking he is the final subject in the experiment on taking a human conscience into a host's body, seeing how previous attempts have failed, and he seems to think he's only a troubled human being. I don't remember right now, but I think there's a scene in episode 10 where he briefly "slips" like the hosts do when they come in contact with conflicting memories.

Be very interesting to see where they take S03. Dolores is going to need some seriously kickass backup.

The new Lost In Space on Netflix - I was skeptical but it really pulled me in and I can't wait for Season Two.

E01 of Altered Carbon. Has been on my 'view eventually' list for awhile and I finally got around to it tonight. It's early days, but intriguing thus far.

Sacred Games - Netflix has dropped the entire first season and it is just amazing.

Okay, that looks like the next thing to watch.
Currently coming up to the end of season 3 of The Magicians...yay! High Queen Margo! You go girl...and what terrors lay within the Castle At The End Of The World. At least Reynard The Trickster got his just desserts.

"Toast of London"

Matt Berry is a genius. This show is so weird and entirely its own thing, strange cameos, so much not a formula.

Three cheers, for Penvelope, Clancy Moped and and Clem Fandango.

And a big thumbs up for the retro 1970s ish production style.

Only minus-- I could do without the music.
