De-fenestration is probably against the US constitution, but if it ever is brought in I would argue for it to be used to deal with corrupt bankers and politicians. This was in vogue in England in the 12th Century, as was recorded by the Saxon monks in Peterborough Abbey, who were secretly continuing the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle after the Norman Conquest. This is how King Henry I dealt with dishonest bankers who had diluted the silver penny with Henry's head on it.

Quote:
A.D. 1125. In this year sent the King Henry, before Christmas, from Normandy to England, and bade that all the mint-men that were in England should be mutilated in their limbs; that was, that they should lose each of them the right hand, and their testicles beneath. This was because the man that had a pound could not lay out a penny at a market. And the Bishop Roger of Salisbury sent over all England, and bade them all that they should come to Winchester at Christmas. When they came thither, then were they taken one by one, and deprived each of the right hand and the testicles beneath. All this was done within the twelfth-night. And that was all in perfect justice, because that they had undone all the land with the great quantity of base coin that they all bought.

Not only in England, but in my area too.

the window = la fenętre (in French) = la fenestre (in medievale French)
Defenestrate = Défenestrer (in French)

It seems to be a medievale Latin tradition.

Not quite as good as removing their genitalia, but still appropriate for bankers - think of the Wall Street Crash.

"Defenestration" comes to the anglophone world from one particular event, much loved by high school history students, "The Defenestration of Prague", Latin was still a diplomatic language in 1618, so when a Hussite crowd hurled Prague city commissioners from a window, this was known at the time as the Defenestratio Pragensis

. . .its important because these events lead to White Mountain, and the 30 Years War.

The place where defenestration was common was China during the Cultural Revolution. Some were thrown-- like Deng Xiaoping's son, who ended up a paraplegic. Some jumped off rooftops to escape torture by the Red Guards.

The case of Zhang Qinqiu, one of the Communist Party's most powerful women and the only female commander in the PLA is kinda typical. As you might imagine, Mao's ghastly Lady Macbeth of a wife, Jiang Qing, didn't much care for other women with power, and Zhang was brutally purged during the Cultural Revolution.

She jumped to her death from a rooftop. Her husband also committed suicide. Their daughter died of "a drug overdose", maybe suicide, maybe not.

In the category of "death from suspicious fall", that's actually in the news today

Chinese conglomerate HNA Group Co-Chairman Wang Jian died during a business trip in France on July 3 in what local police said appeared to be an accidental fall from a wall while posing for a photograph.

Wang, 57, is regarded as the architect of an eye-popping $50 billion acquisition spree that saw HNA accumulate assets ranging from a stake in Deutsche Bank AG to high-profile overseas properties. Under pressure from Beijing, HNA has since sold off many of those assets to slash debt.

He was in charge of HNA’s strategy and ran day-to-day operations, sources familiar with the matter have said, while his fellow chairman and co-founder Chen Feng was often the public face of the group.

His death complicates the troubled conglomerate’s efforts to restructure and pay off borrowings, and could increase pressure on HNA to reveal more about its oft-criticized opaque ownership.

Wang fell 15 meters off a wall in the village of Bonnieux, near Avignon, a picturesque area popular with tourists, lieutenant-colonel Hubert Meriaux of the Vaucluse gendarmerie force told Reuters.

“He stood on the edge of a sharp drop to get his family to take a picture of him and fell,” he said.
might actually have been an accident . . . but then again . . .

And comes in two forms-'mild' and 'acute' (aka 'minor' and 'major')...'mild' being where you accord the victim the courtesy of opening the window first, and 'acute' being the version lacking this initial courtesy....observers note that the prognosis however remains the same in both cases...

Are there no contraceptive pills for your daughters in the USA?

Today, apart in case of rape, having a child is ultimately the total responsability of the female gender and her parents.

How many time women didn't take the pill to trap their boyfriends?
How many time I've watched talk-shows in the past, in which the mother said: "I stopped the pills, because I wanted to make him a gift!"
- "Did your boyfriend know that you stopped the pills?"
- "No.... but I was so sure that he wanted a child."
- "Did you discuss with him."
- "Yes. He didn't want, but you know, I thought that when seeing his newborn child, he would change his mind."

Even one of my cousins, who is 20 years older than I am, was trapped like this.

Wake up guys. Your daughters are not angels and if they are, you failed to properly educate them.
Yes, contraceptives are available and widely used. No form of contraception is 100% effective. Apparently one of my nephews is living proof of this.

There is widespread clinical evidence that raises serious doubts about our common sense notions of reasoning. Test after test has shown human beings taking actions, such as standing up, before the neurons in the verbal and "command" centers start firing. I suspect that women make babies and come up with the rationalizations afterwards. We all know that men are virtually powerless when pussy is offered. We must fuck it. It is most likely that reproduction is driven by the older and more powerful instinctual parts of the brain.

Regardless of male accountability and our societal agreements about male duties, the simple fact is that the responsibility for raising a child does fall on a woman and her family.

You might have missed this post.

I refer you to it because the Iowa Supreme Court goes into some detail about the challenges facing low income women in relationships. In addition to date rape and being raped after being slipped a drug, the women face beatings, much greater threats of being murdered, and many other forms of controlling and abusive behavior.

Situations of compulsion are far more common than women "trapping" men. Men who are trapped are men who have sex with a woman many times over some period of time, usually months or years. Men who do not wish to be responsible for any children they may father ought to only have sex with prostitutes where that is the agreement.

Default Republican tax cuts and the deficit

If you went to any Republican leader and said, "You've always said deficits are bad and we should have a balanced budget so what about this?", the answer would be something about how, yes, "Maybe the numbers do break down that way but these cuts will stimulate the economy and eventually, we'll have not only that balanced budget but a surplus!"

Guess Who Benefits From Republican Tax Cuts?
Quote:
ITEP figures that total taxes paid in 2018 are about $600 billion less than they would be if we had just left the tax code alone. That's nearly the entire federal deficit projected for this year.

Just to make sure you get that: Republican tax cuts since 2000 are responsible for nearly the entire federal deficit. Repeal them all and the budget would be almost balanced.

Much like with abortion - which they care deeply about, until their mistress needs one - Republicans deeply care about the deficit - until one of their own sits in the White House. Trump is a mainstream American conservative in that regard at least, because these policies would have been enacted under any other GOP candidate as well. It's one of the main reasons why an overwhelming number of conservatives continue to support him. They do love their tax cuts.
