Cloak and Dagger. It suffers a bit from bloat, but once it hits its stride, it's not a bad take on the overstuffed superhero genre.
And the conclusion of Westworld S02. Some of it I saw coming, some of if...well just who was manipulating who. Last edited by Sir Honkers; July 2nd, 2018 at 11:53 AM.. |

OK, finished watching season 1 of Westworld, and I liked it.
While going through it, sometimes I felt like the story was spending time on irrelevant events, or running around in circles and going nowhere; but had to wait until the last few episodes to see how it all made sense. Don't want to say much so I do not spoil it for those who didn't watch, but it was a big surprise to me to see the Man in Black's true identity and therefore what was going on with Dolores. Also to find out the truth about Bernard. I've already got season 2 to start watching soon.

Westworld's S2 is a maze of confusing subplots and flashbacks. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely worth watching, but I couldn't shake off the impression that the series' creators went too far with trying to convince the audience of the entire plot's complexity. It went to a point of becoming overly pretentious and confusing. I love a good story with all its twists and turns but I hate it being thrown in my face all the time. The producers and writers desperately want us to think of Westworld as the best thing since the invention of television. Let the audience be the judge.

I struggled through Season 2 of Westworld and it seems every new episode doesn't lead anywhere.
I have the final episode of Season which is 1 1/2 hours long from 2 weeks ago and I haven't even touched it. |

Essentially, if you think of S01 as the rise of sentience and S02 as the revolution, and that the outcome Dolores wants for her species, what Delos wants and what Ford wanted are three different things, it makes sense.
The hardest thing I found was accepting that everyone who worked for Delos was a sadistic psychopath. And yes, it is hard keeping the shifting timelines in focus. Where exactly does the post-credit scene in E10 fit in? Last edited by Sir Honkers; July 7th, 2018 at 07:58 AM.. |

I will let you know after I watch E10.
Maybe a couple of more weeks before I do or it may be today or tomorrow. I have to be in a special mood nowadays just to sit down and watch Westworld. |

The series' coproducer, Lisa Joy, confirmed it in an interview released after the finale. All we know is that The Man in Black (William) is in a host body but seemingly unaware of it? When that host looking like his dead daughter tells him "he's in his world or what's left of it", I wasn't sure if she meant the park or the world in general.

Season One of Teachers. It's really funny and the kid actors are as good as the adults.
