The Supreme Court of the USA has ruled that the public sector cannot fire folk for refusal to pay union dues.
Looks like the DNC's golden goose has just been shot.

That's not quite what the ruling was. The Court ruled that states cannot require non-union public employees to pay a fee to unions representing other employees in the same work for some of the benefits that non-union employees gain from a union's collective bargaining power. What the non-union employees are paying is a smaller amount than the dues that union members pay.

Which effectively means union members can opt to leave the union and stop paying union dues.
It was done to comply with the 1st Amendment.

I fell asleep watching England play Belgium

It was a nothing to play for game but I've yet to see anything that would make me interested enough to want to watch our next game against Colombia.
