The 'victim' says the incident has ruined her past year. Most of that is probably due to the Police and Court investigation. If she had just told him to fuck off or slapped him it would probably have lasted about as long as her hangover. Even if the 'touching' had happened if I was on the jury in it's context I wouldn't view this sort of thing as 'sexual assault' and could not convict. It's a waste of police and court time IMO. With CCTVs in nightclubs. Watch out Otoko, it could have been all part of their cunning blackmail sting. |

I was on a bus one evening on top deck of a double-decker, coming back from looking after my grandpa all day(I worked for him as a carer) when there was an almighty kerfuffle behind me and two youths pounded past and literally jumped down the stairs(not actually using them but jumped straight down) and legged it, I looked to the back and noticed several people had crowded around someone and it appeared that he had been stabbed either in the face or eye or neck. Luckily I didn't see any blood but we all had to wait on the top part until the police arrived and an ambulance came for this person. We were held up for nearly half an hour and police wanted to know if anyone could help. I remembers that one of the youths had a distinctive jacket with what looked to be an eagle so I mentioned it, but not sure if it helped. That for me was the closest I ever got to a stabbing. Back in the early part of the 2000s stabbings were relatively rare or at least not as widespread as they are nowadays, but still pretty frightening.

Noticed today whilst out shopping with parents -they, the two bags of shopping , nicked in the blink of an eye. What did they get away with? Well hardly Brinks-Mat, three cooling sprays, two cheap saucepans and some insoles. Sounds funny but anything but when we then had to go back to the same shops to replace them. My father was told he could have reported it but the thief could have "ad it away on his toes sharpish" and wouldn't have hung about the Mall. Moral of this experience -keep your shopping with you at all times and NEVER let it out of your sight, if you put it down, for a second. Lesson learnt.
