Respect your opinion/review.
Only we`ll have to agree to disagree there Neo

Up until Wakanda was brought (Embarrassingly forced I felt) into the mix I`d have rated it a respectable 8 out of 10

Yet once they did and with "Certain" following "Shock" events my interest dropped as did my rating.
I've no intention of mentioning spoilers either here.
Only come on.
Thanos loves only one thing.
Death. He courts death. He`s embraced death. Death is the most beautiful of females in his warped genocidal mind and all he wants is to be her consort. To sit beside her as an equal. His gift to death his annihilating half the universe.
As a long time fan of the foul ghoul I know Thanos.
Who they put on the screen sure wasn't him.
Neither was that Infinity Gauntlet what was portrayed in the practically flawless comic book mini series.
Although understand why Silver Surfer couldn't have been on display his absence was profound. Black Panther isn't any form of substitute. If the pivotal triumvirate of Surfer , Strange and Mar-Vell were included in this maybe that daft ending wouldn't have had to have been so, well infinity trivial.
Although even just with Strange there, can't work out the reasoning behind such a lackluster snap finger ending

For the first solid two thirds it gets

If I was to rate the final third however it`d be a 4/10

Annnnnnnyway

Moving on

Is something the ludicrously beautiful and underrated Rosamund Pike wishes to do after being brutally (Not a spoiler as is the plot) attacked. An attack that throws all her plans into the blender , and then said blender get`s smashed.

Nick Nolte has a role as her father.
Both leads are excellent and as we see the affect , the weirdly positive affect in some ways this attack has on Rosamund it`s interesting. Although not interesting enough to sustain a film with a basic script and where we're confused as to her motives towards her attacker until right at the end.

Still due to that ending (Which I liked) and Mrs RosaJoker`s (Hey a Fellow Forum Fella can dream ) performance it get`s

Default Two Spinning Balls a Tall Man and the horror of the Isoceles Triangle

"The Void" [2016]
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4255304/

I'm kinda liking the new trend of l70s and 80s horror/scifi nostalgia , call it the "Stranger Things" moment.

This nicely shot not-so-scary movie starts in a promising fashion. Even if it doesn't really deliver the goods, if you loved Phantasm, Hellraiser, The Thing (John Carpenter's) -- you'll enjoy all the shoutouts.

It also weaves a bit of a Lovecraft theme . . . all in all its not as enthusiastically weird as Phantasm, but still happy to see it. . . And who doesn't love a movie devoted to scary triangles?

Note the poster’s similarity to Clockwork Orange — there’s a lot of tongue in cheek, but that’s the problem with the movie. I wasn’t always sure whether it took itself as satire or seriously

Smile Be aware Fellow Forum Fellas that the pop ups on Sockshare.io are the most harmless and easily closed I've ever known in all my years of streaming. Also having checked the upload quality of the picture Infinity is ok. Hardly ideal. But ok considering

Who I missed most was Adam Warlock
But then in the mini series he is the core the foundation of it all.
Why the powers that be couldn't have waited another year and brought him into the mix with his own story first , I don't know

I`ll be streaming Infinity later .
To see if I can warm to that baffling non-ending ending
Also to Thanos having a heart , and wanting to eradicate half the universe for conservationist reasons

It`s a girl marries obvious rotter and has to live in his creepy mansion in the middle of almost nowhere with his even creepier sister , ghost story. Got to say given it was directed, co-produced and co-written by Guillermo del Toro I did expect more than we ultimately got.

Was perfectly serviceable though plus effects and acting good.

Primal Rage

IMDB
YouTube Trailer

A newly reunited young couple's drive through the Pacific Northwest turns into a nightmare as they are forced to face nature, unsavory locals, and a monstrous creature, known to the Native Americans as Oh-Mah.

Primal Rage is kinda alright. The movie's well shot, the forest looks gloomy and the monster has a very cool design. The main two protagonists are likeable and we feel for them, especially the lovely blonde. The fact that the guy was freshly released from jail after a year as a convict is interesting too. Not the usual blend young couple.
Then there's a background to the monster, its origins and stuff. And it's also a nice aspect of the creature to see it as not just a typical dumb sasquatch but as an intelligent specie, which can think, hunt and even use weapons or protect itself with an armor.
So what went wrong? I guess that when the young heroes in distress cross the path a group of dumb redneck hunters, the movie's pace get slower and all the sequences featuring the idiotic guys are wasted by awful dialogues and very bad performances. I lost the interest at that point.
Then something happens to relaunch the story and Primal Rage has a chance to be gripping again. But once again, another missed opportunity...
many of the scenes are way too long! There's a ceremony sequence that occurs at one point involving the blonde girl but it stretches itself until the moment where you're losing your attention.
Finally, the director Patrick Magee wakes up and gives us a nice fight moment that reminds of the Predator Vs Dutch scene in McTiernan's masterpiece. It's cool and well done...but it happens kind of too late. And the very ending sucks like in too many horror movies nowadays.
But overall, Primal Rage ain't that bad at all. Cool performances from Casey Gagliardi and Andrew Montgomery , a great creature and lots of gore. That's an okay horror flick which have been edited way better and faster in order to become a little gem.

Well,I watched it,Slow and sepia tinted,Definitely more style than substance,The movie wears it's influences on it's sleeve,Jane Eyre,Rebecca..Carry On Screaming..Maybe not The stately home makes Disney's Haunted Mansion look like a des res,Jessica Chastain goes over the top and down the other side as the villain's overtly evil sister.

Basic Instinct (1992)

Trailer

The retired rock star and club owner, Johnny Boz (Bill Cable), "gets off while getting off" with a little help of a mysterious blonde's ice pick. Nick Curran (Michael Douglas), a homicide detective with the San Francisco Police Department, and his partner, Gus Moran (George Dzundza), pick up the case and start investigating their first suspect, Boz's girlfriend, crime novelist Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone). Boz's murder looks exactly like that in one of Tramell's books but she has an alibi and passes the lie detector test. However, Curran still thinks she's the killer and lets himself be pulled into Tramell's web of manipulation, mainly because he has a hard-on.

Decent thriller we've all seen a couple of times. The suspense keeps getting built up nicely and there are some good twists but the rest is routine. Basic Instinct is Paul Verhoeven's last watchable American film. From what I know, he's back in Europe.

I'm really not much of a fan of most of today's releases. I love watching classic movies, and this one, "Homicidal" (1961), is a lot of fun. Since they are both somewhat similar, it could actually be the B-movie to Alfred Hitchcock's legendary "Psycho," which was released a year earlier.
