I became aware of your post at about 10 am this morning. I've had all day at work to consider my response.
Firstly, if you are offended by the use of the word 'twat' may I suggest that moderator on a porn forum may not be the position for you. Secondly, I once had a look at the wank thread and didn't think much of it. But again, as a moderator, maybe you shouldn't denigrate the people who do take part in that thread.
I changed my sig a few days prior to this as a joke at ********'s expense because of his ridiculous attempt to change the meaning of SJW. I was sorely tempted to leave it up because I think you are seriously overstepping your bounds. I thought of changing the sig so as to advertise the content of this site. But I expect that you might be offended at 'Come to VEF. We have quite a few twats here.'
So, as it comes down to it I will change the signature because I don't want this thread closed. It is too valuable for getting information across and I'm sure too many people here enjoy it and find it informative. But I'm extremely disappointed that some have been more upset at the word twat than that the British Government have banned a journalist from entering the country and, worse, used anti-terror legislation as the weapon.

I like the idea of leaving the post up for all to view. Its much easier for people to understand what is acceptable and what isn't as opposed to the usual "what got banned I didn't see it". I also think this letter from the U of C Dean of Students to the student body makes a good read when discussing politically correct norms, especially the reference to the 2015 report from the Committee on Freedom of Expression.
