I think you'll find that the British authorities are extremely keen to pursue anyone in the forces who has been accused of war crimes. No matter how flimsy, or obviously politically made up the evidence may be.

I think it's not so much a problem to bring down British war-criminals as of being the poodles of the American government and -justice- and CIA as well.

Strangely we do prosecute anyone who commits what is seen as a 'war crime'. Equally interestingly Britain has signed up to the ICC. Which allows for British serving soldiers to face the court, the US refused to!

As for the comment about being poodles, one man was the poodle, although he was a quite aggressive one! As a US Marine friend of mine once said 'I do not understand Clinton getting involved with Monica! Should have stuck with Tony, he swallows!'

Poodles:
This is exactly that time table, we were talking about in case of Assange.

But before ???
Only in the last month I've heard some light contradictions of UK-government against the politics of 'The Toupee'.

The Toupee was invited on a State Visit after he was elected, that has quietly been dropped. Unheard of in the History of Diplomatic Relations between Britain and the US. There is no greater comment than that!

As for poodles, well there were apparently, several occasions when Bush was wavering and Blair gave him backbone, sadly they are a demonstration of what happens when two pathetic little egotists get too much power and authority, unfortunately, me and mine paid the price, along with thousands of innocents who still suffer today, not them!

Yep, yep... prosecute, but at the end politicians will never go to jail.

According to you, will Tony Blair face a tribunal?

That's quite clear that the US administration is one of the most unfair administration in the world.
They preach a lot of nice stories, but never punish their dirty liars.
That's probably why, abroad, billions of people do not trust the politicians of this country. They behave like vile mafiosi.

The Bush Jr administration was an administration of monsters that lied to the people who lived in Manhattan, to the American people, to all the people of the world.
And they are still free and invited in US universities!!!!!

In France, Sarkozy has a lot of troubles with the justice for several affairs (one of them is according to the newspaper Mediapart, Sarkozy bombed Libya 3 days after that the Khadafi's son said that his father paid several millions for the Sarko's presidential campaign (it seems 50 millions according to sources)).
Will it be a parody of justice or real? The future will tell us!

Edit: In 2017, Sarkozy tried to be reelected by the French Republicans and was kicked out like the liar he is.

No Blair will not face a tribunal, despite many in Britain feeling he should be prosecuted, he lied to Parliament, but for many obscure legal reasons he will escape prosecution, the best we can hope for, are prosecutions in the private legal system, for misconduct in publiv office, like all politicians, he is protect for his abuse.

Sadly the tip of the iceberg! On a personal point, five members of my Regiment were accused of killing a civilian in Iraq, there was no body, no evidence and no funeral, however the Labour government, for political reasons decided to pursue the case, despite the misgivings of both the Crown Prosecution Service, and the Judge Advocates office.

The trial began and the judges looked deeply confused at all the ifs and maybes, the case finally fell apart when it was revealed that the dead man was one of the entourage of folk enjoying the free hospitality of the UK luxury hotel. The case was dismissed.

The five soldiers all left the Army as soon as they could, one of them had a great future ahead of him, by the age of twenty seven, he had been promoted to Sergeant and was about to become an instructor at the Army foundation college, to any Brits, especially fellow squaddies, they will know what a hell of a good soldier he had to be to make sergeant in the Parachute Regiment, and how incredibly good he must have been to do it by that age!

Five more casualties of the Blair Wars! Of which there were four!

Also sadly that slimy sanctimonious tosser is still held up as a beacon of hope by some of his "fans" in the lower bowels of the Remain camp who think that the devious has-been shithead's words actually count for anything... gimme a break
They must be really desperate.
