Image Host Grabber

IHG has been refusing to work for me on imgbox for a couple of weeks now. Here are the two latest examples of it failing. I'm getting the old "Request Aborted! Can't find image on page!" error. Is a manual search pattern amendment required because I'm no longer getting any autoupdates of the host file.

I've been using the imgbox fix posted earlier in this thread, but I checked the links you posted and it fails for me as well. Imgbox sucks.

It's because imgbox have added to/altered some of their servers. Try the following:

Host Label: imgbox
URL Pattern: http:\/\/imgbox\.com\/\w+
Search Pattern:

function(pageData, pageUrl) {
	var iUrl = pageData.match(/src=('|")(https?:\/\/)(i|images\d?)(\.imgbox\.com\/.+?)\1 title=('|")(.+?)\5/);
	return iUrl ? {imgUrl:  iUrl[2] + iUrl[3] + iUrl[4], fileName: iUrl[6], status: "OK"} : {imgUrl: null, status: "ABORT"}
}

On the above 2 posts that gave me 20 & 74 images.

I don't know what's happening re. IHG auto-updates--you could try asking on their website about that?

Ah, yes, thanks, I'd forgotten there is a site for it. Having looked at it, it seems there is an update from a month ago but I'm not sure they have caught up with imgbox yet.

Therefore, I'll happily go with yours.

Any IHG pattern (i.e. regular expression) can be broken by a host changing its pattern(s), so never say never. Have you tried the latest fix and found it wanting? If so please post here link(s) to any such illustrative examples & I'll take a look. If not then it's (temporarily) unbroken. That's just the nature of the problem domain.

To recap: IHG's pattern worked earlier this year, until -box changed their server(s) configurations. A new pattern was created and worked, until they changed things again. Last I checked the latest pattern worked, but... Show me examples where it doesn't work.

Anyone know how to make this work in firefox 57 ?, I had it working thru 56 but the same tricks don't seem to work on 57.

Hey guys, i just posted a question on the 'other' forum thinking it was this one, the looks and colors and such being so similar and all, anyways, found the correct thread now right here so will start reading backwards to get that imgbox working at least.
