We live in a such illogical world right now.
35 years ago, my friends and I, were used to walk to school.
Today there are 20 big cars with fat mothers inside, who drive their children to school.
About 6 monthes ago, a mother injured a little child by bumping into him with her car. The director of the school said to my brother that he had to seperate two mothers fighting because they wanted the same parking place.

On several points, we have created an absurd society.

Oh Dear. Do parents and grandparents lost their mind? Do they forget how nice was life 35 years ago?

None of those are large. Some AUS-spiders are bigger than anything we have, don't know about where you live. All of their insects are small enough to hold in a hand, so far as I know... it's just that you wouldn't want to hold some of them in your hand. Not without a glove, anyway
