Default World War Three

I managed to trigger an almighty row on Saturday Night
I decided a week ago to get a print that I had made of Rachel Broome
from Mayfair Magazine 1976 ( an old favourite of mine ) -
and collected it from the Framer , trouble was I was dumb enough to leave it on my desk - where my wife spotted it , before I had a chance to place it on the wall - for display
She was not happy , yet as you can see , there's no nudity and its harmless -
she was threatening divorce ( she had a bit to drink that night )
claiming that I fancy ' Rachel ' and want to date her
( I wish , I have no idea who she actually is - it was ridiculous )
- its been peaceful since - so I will wait a week or so , and put it in a less visible place higher up and less noticeable ( I wanted to put in between the Pennant from Italia 90 and my Framed ' Jaegir ' artwork from 2000ad .
I really can't win .

Did your wife look like Rachel?

Hmmm I remember the quote of one of my Casanova cousin, who get 3 different wives, 4 children and so many torrid relationships with women... : "Women want the exclusivity."
Are you not throwing alcohol on the fire?

true story , I had a penthouse pet centrefold on my bedroom wall
of Melissa Harding ( actually Helen Masters ) from 1984
My Mother tolerated it -----

I also had scanned picture from an original 35mm colour slide of Rachel
on the wall in my study room - and the silly wife never complained about that ( and the scanned picture was topless ) - its weird
and to answer Did your wife look like Rachel? - I wish

I don't know you from Adam, but I think that sentence probably says a lot about how your view of male/female relationships has been coloured by what you experience. I love my wife. I think being with her has enriched my life beyond measure and there is no part of our relationship that I have to 'cope' with.
Honestly, if that's the way you feel about your life with her...GET OUT MAN!...before you end up a sad, bitter old man.
And I don't think I'm unique. I'm sure I'm just one of many millions of men in the world who are happily married.

Tried it xy, didn't work. She just had a temper tantrum. She even wrote in an email to me (I'm copying and pasting this) - "You think because my bruises are not physical they are less important than yours" (I mentioned the bruises she has given me), and then something about how my words are more hurtful, even though she can't actually come up with anything from the last two years that I've said that was "hurtful". I don't even know what she thinks I said to her, because all I was doing was saying "Stop attacking me, verbally and physically, for ridiculous reasons". To be completely honest, I think it's just a fib she tells herself after the fact to rationalise it to herself.

I'm afraid, my anonymous internet friends, that my marriage is over. Which is very depressing.
