The attraction of Australia is that you have some of the strangest and most lethal critters on the planet. The aliens might see Australia as a giant laboratory in which to capture and manipulate all of it's wildlife. America used to have a more diverse quantity of strange animals, but many have been hunted to extinction.

Tm you forget one thing , how do aliens know which life form is which , so when they change life at the molecular level Humans are changed also , how do you think we got such movies as Attack of the 50ft Woman , so the ants don't have a chance as all of humanity has been modified.

What a great Syfy movie

An alien I think would be able to distinguish humans from the rest of the animal world. Upon observing us they would realize we were the dominant life form and that we are intelligent and self-aware, and that all the other animals are lower life forms. Well enough of this. Unlike many scientists I don't believe that intelligent life is common in the universe. Our galaxy( the Milky Way ) has 200 billion stars. Out of those there may be only a few million that have any kind of life, and of those there may only be a hndful of intelligent species, and they will not look anything like us. There are many people who are convinced that they were abducted by aliens. I don't think so. I don't think our planet has ever been visitied. Why would it. Our Sun (Sol) is just an ordinary yellow sun like billions of others, and unlike in sci-fi t.v. shows and movies the speed of light cannot be broken and there is no such thing as hyperdrive or hyperspace or subspace, so any intelligent race that had a spaceship that was able to approach the speed of light would take thousands of years to get to Earth.
