And, if I get a third wish, let it be that I do not have to be in a position to make a declaration (whatever that might entail

And congrats to the ladies for beating Australia. Certainly not a result I expected as I supped the red grape over lunch.

Really odd !!!

My post timed at 6:40 pm is shown in the index but does not appear here.

What gives ?

The only difference was that it was a 'Full Reply' rather than a 'Quick Reply' as this one is.

Sometimes happens DB - the post gets "stuck" and only appears once you or someone else adds a new post. I noticed earlier when I went to read your flagged post that it hadn't gone through. But you're here now.

Has 'Dear Joe' taken the wrong Root and allowed himself to be influenced by senior players in wasting those reviews ? Ok, he has got them back now with the new ball but they could have been more valuable with the old 'un.

Game appeared to be slipping away after lunch. Got it a bit back following some rash strokes when Quinton de Kocked up and Amla Hashimed his pull. Then allowed it to slip away again as the tail started to wag.

Could be a close one this. And the fourth innings could be interesting.

Well the women have played better than the men did today.

Already qualified for the semis, they knew a good win (net run rate) would leave them top of the pile and to remain at Bristol. (I'll avoid the temptation regards that fine city

)

Duly achieved. Ok. Said it more than once you can only be as good as your opposition and the Windies were pretty poor when they came to bat.

As for the men, the least said the better. Other than Joe of course. But he can not win every game on his own. Needs a few to step up tomorrow or a crushing defeat looms.
