What if you lived in Australia?

If I lived in Australia I would have to live in a house like this. It would have to be in the Melbourne area near the Bass Strait. See my fantastic swimming pool. The second floor above the pool is probably the bedrooms. At the far left are the living room, dining room, and my big library. And each of those chimneys lead down to an authentic fireplace. Of course this mansion would have the latest security features which I would have vastly upgraded!

If it's down near Bass Straight I hope the pool is heated, tm.

Plus you will need a well-stocked bar fridge/cellar for when we all come and visit you.

My mansion will have two big rooms off the kitchen. One is a gigantic pantry filled with every kind of food, and big refrigerators filled with beer, fruit juices, water, and freezers filled with every kind of frozen food. The other huge room is a gigantic recreation room with all kinds of things in it. A bowling alley, pool tables, arcade size and quality video games, big plasma t.v., dvd players and a huge vault containing 10,000 videos,and a full size bar with every liquor from around the world.

As for the security it will be as safe as the American White House. There will be 50mm Gatlin type machine guns filled with copper jacketed exploding rounds, pulse lasers, a wall surrounding my estate that has an electric fence with a current of 50,000 volts. The wall is un-breachable. 27 inches thick brick re-enforced with titanium-tantalum-iridium plates. even a low yield nuclear missle could not penetrate it. The mansion would be built on an artificial ridge on land right near Bass Strait.

Just a guess, but I'm supposing you don't want any visitors.

Almost all quokkas live on Rottnest Island. Very few live on the Australian continent, and those that do are on the northern part of Australia. Anyway the security system for my mansion would be controlled by an artificial intelligence, which would recognize any wildlife that gets near the fence and send out a sonic pulse that would drive the animals away. They would not be harmed by the pulse.

I let a flat (apartment) to a couple on Saturday who came from Perth, WA. Lovely people - and they had actually been to Rottnest and walked among quokkas.

I told them I was jealous and knew of a certain American chap who would envy them too.

Not sure what you mean, but any people that come calling will be grilled by a voice that comes out of an intercom, inquiring who they are and what they want. If there are criminals that try to break into the mansion at night, they will get a nasty surprise and I will have to clean up the bodyparts the next day.
