Never saw a weather map like that, but if it means you're getting rain, isn't that a good thing on the world driest continent?

Top left of the pic, attention to detail Thunderstorm warning The yellow is the general area, the red UFO is the severe part Oh and here's Victoria's current rain radar The storms and rain are coming from North to South, when it happens that way, all the tropical warm air comes South and drags with it the moisture from the Pacific, those are the intense storms, like right as I'm typing

What temperature do Aussies consider chilly? I went out one evening in the Blue Mountains and was told I was brave because I didn't wear a jacket. It was 13 degrees centigrade - which I considered a lovely mild evening. For my part, anything over about 24 and I'm wilting. |

here is the whether, or not
Anything below 16c and I have to consider putting clothes on.
It's still muggy here, showers increasing tomorrow. Ummm When did Tassie move closer to the Australian mainland? Will airfares be cheaper now? Yeah, as if! Why is it cheaper to travel a greater distance overseas? Can I have my ball back, please? |

It was high summer when I was there, but it didn't get hotter than +20 to +25 C. Everyone seemed comfortable with it |

Most airfares are priced largely on frequency/volume. Airlines like to say fuel's a big factor (when its price goes up) but it's generally not as big as we might think.
