Another pie & mash.
First Sterling now Kane, up next Rooney followed by Walcott. |

Well, had a scare right up to the 89th minute there, just goes to show how much we miss and rely on Kane.
Good performance, shame about rose getting booked so he will miss the Chelski game, but still unbeaten in the league and with the results earlier its a good weekend. |

Wow its not often Atletico Madrid get battered at home by anyone, even more annoying for them it was their rivals Real. I wouldn't have wanted to be in the home dressing room after that game. I think Simeone would have given Fergie a good run in the hairdryer stakes. A hat-trick for Ronaldo also shows that the media reports of his demise maybe a little premature.
A good win for Dortmund at home to Bayern in another huge game on the continent. Not only does it harm Bayern's chances of the title but it helps RB Leipzig with theirs. They now sit 3 and 6 points clear of Bayern and Dortmund respectively. Some are comparing Leipzig's run to Leicester city in that they could break the big teams hold of the title. The problem is Leipzig are one of the most hated teams in Germany and no neutral wants them to win, unlike Leicester. They have skirted the league rules about ownership and sponsorship. They have bought their way to success in much the same way as Chelsea did after Abramovich landed, but to an even bigger degree. In 2009 they were a fifth tier team until Red Bull become involved with them. They are for many fans all that is wrong with football. I see also Rooney is complaining about the media reaction to his boozing and pissed up state. He states that he loves playing for his country and they were wrong with their coverage. Well then you fat twat when on England duty don't go out and get pissed and give them something to write about. Do you talking on the pitch and they will be able to kiss your arse like they did for years. I thought we had banned boozing on international duty anyway after the infamous dentists chair back in Gazza's day. |

I don't know how many brain cells he (Rooney) has left, but surely he is intelligent enough to understand that as a professional footballer, and ESPECIALLY considering his body type and physique, that the last thing on Earth he should be doing is drinking alcohol?
It's just having some discipline, and making the most of whatever talent you have. There are OTHER ways to blow off steam, you know. Save the drinking for after you retire. I can't even imagine what he will look like after he retires. He'll probably balloon up like Maradona or Hatton, or people like that, and have news stories about him doing cocaine and stuff. |

the thing is if rooney keeps his mouth shut the story goes away in a week but he's given the sunday papers free reign to run with it again.

Rumours about Steven Gerrard persist. He should do a Rooney and hold a press conference and admit that, YES, he does like Phil Collins and he's not ashamed to admit it anymore.

Where are all the comments about Henderson and Lallana?
Don't know how many brain cells they have but when they retire i can imagine them as drunken, dirty old men logging onto VEF every day. Last edited by judy84; November 20th, 2016 at 04:18 PM.. |

People might hate the waiter, but this is a man who has won trophies.
