did you know
its possible to prove the theory of "mans best friend " by locking both your missus and your dog in the boot of your car and leaving them for an hour or so before opening it and seeing which is happiest to see you .

its always the dog in my experience

This may seem an odd post as its a question, but bear with me. How on earth was the geographical centre of the 50 states worked out???

My guess is plot the most extreme compass points and see where the lines cross.

Here's something I never knew and only found it out last night on ONLY CONNECT, a clever quiz on BBC FOUR hosted by Victoria Coren-Mitchell(now that is one tasty lady and clever too) If I said the names Pat Clifton and Sam Leyton-Jones would you know who I meant? I bet you know the first names, but did you know that they are full names of Postman Pat and Fireman Sam(animated characters). I like to think I have a pretty good knowledge of children's television but I can honestly say I never heard those surnames used in the episodes-you live and learn eh?
