Marjorie Lord
Marjorie Lord, born as Marjorie Wollenberg, is an American actress born in San Francisco, California on July 26, 1918.
I would not refer to Marjorie as all that minor of an actress that she should be posted here, since she has done everything from Broadway, to films, to TV, but rather because of the limited number of her photos available. Marjorie is perhaps best known for her portrayal of widower Danny Thomas' second TV wife Kathy "Clancy" Williams in the 1953 sitcom "Make Room For Daddy", a role which she played for nearly 8 seasons, and replacing actress Jean Hagen as Thomas' first wife. Marjorie eased herself out of show business for the most part after her third marriage in 1977. She is also actress Anne Archer's mother. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0520467/bio Last edited by cuzzyman927; March 2nd, 2013 at 10:36 PM.. Reason: Add to bio. |

Jeff Donnell
Though she has a man's name, lovely Jeff Donnell is all female. She was an American-born actress whose real name was Jean Marie Donnell. Born in South Windham, Maine on July 10, 1921 and died on April 11, 1988. As a little girl she had a fixation on the "Mutt & Jeff" cartoon strip, and it was she who elected to call herself "Jeff".
While having a few featured and co-starring roles, Jeff was primarily given roles as being the leading lady's best friend in films. She did play George Gobel's TV wife Alice for four seasons on the 1954 sitcom "The George Gobel Show", and some may remember her as housemaid Stella Fields on the long-running soap opera "General Hospital" from 1979 until her death in 1988. In later years Jeff was plagued with much ill health, including a serious bout with Addison's Disease --she died peacefully in her sleep of a heart attack at the age of 66. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0232655/bio |

Thelma Oliver
Thelma Oliver Born 1941 (?)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0647014/?ref_=tt_cl_t5 Surprised not to find this lady here already, because although she has only three bit parts in movies she was in fact the first actress to be topless in a mainstream Hollywood film. The film was 'The pawnbroker' (1964) staring Rod Steiger, and the topless scene was allowed by the censors due to the serious nature of the film in dealing with the Jewish holocaust. It's a shame she didn't make more films.....
