@willyprop - your two images of a young lady are finally complete. I had more than the usual complement of problems that slowed all this down including hardware problems and another malware infection. That delayed things for over two weeks. But they're done and that's the main point, right? Let me know if you want anything changed.

I assume you're back from your trip, and hope it was a pleasure. And my sympathy for the hardware and software problems.

As promised, my next Carol Cummings requests are for colorizing black and white photos of the lady, which I hope will be a less taxing job. The first scan was of one dazzling face shot, but the second scan had four photos of Ms. Cummings on it, so I've whited out two of them, leaving the double dazzlers. She's here in her blonde aspect:

It'll be fine with me if the swimsuits (or maybe one swimsuit) she's wearing which look white stay that color. If you think they should have a color, however, my preference would be blue -- but the choice is yours.

The last image is a bit overexposed. Hopefully, you can do something about that.

These were larger than normal and so took longer than usual then the last had several folds or tears that needed fixing plus the frame wasn't square with the picture all requiring extra work. Let me know if you want anything changed.

@vampirate - I've started the cleanup on all three of these picture and have changed my assessment of the difficulty. All three of them have features which will cause extra work. In the first, it's the hair, in the second and third it's the trees in the background. Expect about three days before completion of these.

@vampirate - your three images of various women are completed and shown below. I had some extra difficulty with the last one as it had been changed so the contrast was too extreme and there were specularities in various parts of the picture. I ended up painting the areas that were too white with a light grey to allow a color to be created there but I'm still not completely satisfied with the results. Let me know if you want anything changed on any of these three.

this is a spectacular piece of photoshop work demsal8, i have done text removal but nothing like this. do you have other examples like this?

also how did you do the hair part, did you substitute a different models hair? or was it cloned from other areas of her hair?

@tam4 - welcome to the colorizing thread and to VEF. Your image is somewhat less than a stellar beginning but I hope I can be able to fix it up so it looks a lot better.

@mele447 - I've done lots of work on this forum where I've removed text from a picture. In fact, although it isn't often stated, I prefer to remove all text on an image before coloring. If you want some recent examples, check for any recent request (except the current one) by carolaholic. He's presented a lot of his favorite girl and is apparently trying to get the entire history of her posing changed.

I've done lots of other work on the same vein having joined a lot of spanned images (spanning a page boundary, such as centerfolds) and you'll find them all over this forum though mostly in the classical section. In every case I removed any printing on the pictures. The first one of these I did was what I call my train wreck girl (because she looked like she had been cut in half by railroad wheels) and that's at

There is a problem, however, with your assumption about how this was done, I don't use Photoshop but another package called Micrografx Picture Publisher. It's less capable in some areas but as you've noted I get some good results out of it. Comes from a lot of practice and years of experience with that package. The Echo Johnson image you quoted was done in several steps. I'll show you the first step and then the image (of the same girl) I used to patch in the hair.



I have also done some clothing removal, just a few times, and all of that is dependent on finding two different images that merge properly. I did one much earlier on Bridgette Bardot but was not very satisfied with it because the starting image was requested and I had the devil of a time finding another to fit the pose. Before I joined this forum, I did one for my personal use of Barbara Eden (I Dream of Jeannie) and posted it somewhere here but have been unable to find it. So I'll reproduce the original image, the finished image, and the lady who donated the mammaries.
