When Wolves played QPR last season , Joey man of the people Barton stepped up his feud with Karl Henry by boasting to every Wolves player within earshot ''I'm on 80 grand a week me '', knowing that was double Wolves' highest earners were getting.

Apparently MM turned down Forest as he feared too much interference from above. So a pay me the money yes man like Ericksson would be ideal for them. The owners that is , not the fans.

But interested there is a different between German and British suporters. German Suporters are mostly sceptical about investors with dubious interests. I remember protest from Schalke suporters when Gazprom from Russia started to sponsored the club. It was the best for Schalke with high debts, but most Suporters didn't agree. Also there is in Germany 50+1 rule, not allowed for investors to contol the club. Of course the price is, German clubs without Bayern Munich are without a real chance in Championsleague.

It would appear that Rangers might not actually be playing football this coming season, which is due to start next weekend.

New Rangers having accepted the transfer embargo, 01/09/12 -31/08/13, face mounting problems as the SPL want further sanctions as well as a slice of the Rangers media revenue from the division three games.

So you vote not to allow Rangers newco into your realm, but still want to bleed them dry.

It also transpires that what ever deal is reached, all parties have to agree that it is acceptable. The parties concerened are. Oldco Rangers, Sevco Scotland (New Rangers), SFA, SFL and the SPL.

Somehow I cannot see all those agreeing on anything, so more than likely a Ranger less Scottish football.
