I seem to see those long kinky boots now each time I dip into the posts in this wonderful thread. So I definitely was missing out on these in the sixties. But I can't picture my ex in them. And I can't recall ever seeing any of her trendy friends wearing them. Neither my ex or her friends ever wore those glossy white knee boots featured in many posts. They favoured the knee length black leather boots popularised by Honor Blackman in the Avengers TV series.

I do recall a version of the long kinky boot that went stunningly well with a pair of hotpants in 1971. This boot came right up the thigh, and was more suited for teenage dolly birds. By that time my by then ex-wife was nearing thirty. She had left me for a more opulent lifestyle with her very wealthy new husband, and was probably no longer allowed to wear kinky gear like this. He had also dashed her long-time ambition to be a lingerie model, and had made her give up her career modelling the more mundane forms of ladies' wear too.
