Lets say you have a key that opens multiple locks.We'd call it a "master key", and it's an awesome thing to have.
Now lets say we have a lock that can be opened by lots of different keys.Well that's a pretty crummy lock, and one most people wouldn't want.

Suppose you don't know which key opens the lock. You'd have to try as many as you could find til you found the one that fit, right? Seems at least as 'noble' a quest as opening any old lock that happens to be lying around with your "master key".
