hydon, I wouldn't disagree but I would have to include, possibly, Laura St.John and Ingrid Norseman in my top 10.

You've thrown a spanner in the the works, thecocker and I have to agree with your suggestion of Anne Scott, I'd forgotten about her...and Ruth Cavendish. She was lovely too, from a great era for pretty girls. I will revise my Top 10 to Top 12 and include them. Nick

Agree with all selections so far with the possible exception of cherry lennox,I can never make my mind up about this girl, she's not particularly pretty to my mind (eye of the beholder and all that) though that is not as important as feminine body language,which seems to be lacking a little. that said I'd still put her in top fifty or so.

Cherry Lennox was one of those girls who could look very ordinary in certain shots but just so cute in others. There are some pics of her up and around a ladder (in doors) and the way she poses is wonderful. Some of her raised skirt pics (al fresco) are just so provocative. The one I have posted is just such a pic, love the white pants and black suspenders. She will stay in my Top 10. Nick
