I know that Ewoks started as Wookies. That was true long long ago. I hadnt heard the rest, but then, you can never tell how much bullshit the new folks will claim was old.
Regardless, I got my 3 movies, and Indy 1/2/3 and I'm happy. In 40 years they've had 2 1 minute scenes that I enjoyed. 1. When Han turns to Chewie on the Falcon and says "Chewie, we're home" 2. When the x-wing flys across the window on the boba fett show. It took o.o1 seconds for me to say it's Luke!

http://www.starwarshelmets.com/Origi...ault%20trooper. The fact that the costumes were designed by enthusiasts with a military mindset, made the finished items look far more authentic, as if they were truly designed for the battlefield. The same with most of the OT props, that were cobbled together from real life military and industrial equipment. The AT-ST wasn't even anything to do with Lucas whatsoever. Lucas wanted war machines inspired by War of the Worlds for the Battle of Hoth, so Johnston designed the AT-AT, with some input from Phil Tippett, whilst the AT-ST was thought up and designed by Joe Johnston almost on a whim! I can tell you for a fact, that the blaster sound really was from a guy whacking a radio tower guy-wire with a hammer; because as kids, we snuck into a local radio station tower and spent an afternoon taking turns hitting the support cables with a hammer until the police ran us off.
Sound was spot on perfect
