We recommend that you use imagebam or imagevenue instead of the default uploader at VEF, which is pimpandhost. The two recommended image hosts have been around a long time and been reliable 99% of the time, with far fewer problems than pimpandhost. It's worth the extra step to bookmark one or both recommended hosts and use them instead, believe me (and many other VEF mods and frequest posters agree).
We would change the default host via uploader if we could, but due to some complex and frustrating reasons, we cannot (yet). Sorry.
