Simply for burning cd's and dvd's:
Burnare free burner in the free version.
Seriously is a lot better than so heavy programs like nero, or somethong like that.
For slow machines a lot of more light.
For editing avi's:
VirtualDub
a little complicated of work but so free and light.
For editing images:
the Photofiltre, free version not have all those funtions of Phtoshop
but with less than 50MG is the best free image editor thaat I had tested.
