halvar wrote an amazing (fast, very easy to handle) tool, to download all images in a thread which are hosted at imagebam/imgbox.
Now he is creating a new improved tool to include a backup for images from other hosts.
- The images are saved to your harddrive.
- It creates automatically subfolders for each post.
- The subfolders are named with the thread title and the post-nr.,
so you can later very easy find the original post.
- Saved images retain the original-filenames, if the host delivers them.
- Filtering is possible, so it saves only posts of a specific user or post from e.g. page 10 to 30 of a thread.
- If the download of an image fails, the thumbnail will be saved.
