Unless you're preserving the original DVD as is, you generally only want one angle and it can be difficult to rip a multi-angle DVD and only capture one angle. If you don't know what you're doing, you end up with a flickering file. I don't care about losing the alternate angles because IMO multi-angle was a gimmick that is not very useful anyhow.
