Don't want to get 2GB into a 4Gb d/l and then get stuck. That is like going back to the bad old days of cranky dial-up. I am sure many here can share horror stories of bad file downloads from those days. I certainly can.

Oh no doubt. I've got an ethernet cable snaked from the PC, around the wall, behind the tv, into the entry way where AT&T had to install the equipment. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but in an apartment building, it's going to have to be that way. I'll leave the wifi for the Xbox One X, my phone when I need it, and my laptop when racing season starts. It will be fine for those.
But I am correct in assuming that when I get slow downloads from a host say like Keep2Share is running slow but Depositfiles is flying, that's it's a problem with that particular host and not on my end?
