As mentioned in the "Did You Know" thread, but worth repeating here, the famous Ferrari "prancing horse" logo was taken from the artwork on Count Francesco Baracca's aircraft.

According to Enzo Ferrari .... "In 1923, I met Count Enrico Baracca, the hero's father, and then his mother, Countess Paolina, who said to me one day, 'Ferrari, put my son's prancing horse on your cars. It will bring you good luck.'"

Baracca and his SPAD with the prancing horse artwork.
