playboy is more than a magazine or tv channel it's an iconic brand; but a brand that has failed to keep up with the times.
Once a brand starts on the downward slope it is very difficult to bring it back round and make it relevant to new age (hence rebranding as an option). It's all about fashion and/or people's perceptions and that's a hard battle to fight......How many years before it becomes retro!
