I keep saying to you guys

Stop being MS guinea pigs and wait till ask woody / end users test the updates

Their current rating 3 says patch

Patch reliability is unclear, but widespread attacks make patching prudent.
Go ahead and patch, but watch out for potential problems.


BUT patching might be as bad as malware depending on your version of 10

The root cause is the same — a key driver gets uninstalled by the install of the updates and not put back down again.

If you are one of the unlucky ones that was damaged or impacted by this and you’ve somehow managed to get your system working again, I would say turn off the windows update service and hang tight. Microsoft is working on a permanent fix.

I'm on win 7 without the latest update using chrome with ad-blockplus / script safe / plugins disabled / no coin / disconnect with no issues
