Actress Susan Strasberg was walking with Marilyn in New York City. Marilyn was unrecognizable. She not wearing make-up, but had on a scarf and raincoat. She turned to Susan and said, "Do you want to see me be HER?" Strasberg didn't know what Marilyn meant and said, "Sure." Susan commented, "Marilyn made some inner adjustment that I can only say was the equivalent of turning on a light bulb. The walk didn't change and she wasn't swinging her hips. Suddenly people started doing double takes and saying 'Oh my God is that Marilyn? It is!' Well we were mobbed and had to jump into a taxi. There was something she could do to turn on the juice, and it was very deliberate. I think it took up a lot of her life force to do that."
Now Bo is beautiful, but she couldn't do that.
@Sam: Ringo was an excellent drummer - Phil Collins and Max Weinberg say so. The other Beatles did, too. He came up with song titles like "Eight Days a Week," "Hard Day's Night," and "Tomorrow Never Knows." He wrote "Octopus' Garden," and "Don't Pass Me By." It's hard to imagine the Beatles without him.
