Default Discussion- Brooke and Taylor Young

Actress Brooke and Taylor Young Rated 42 of the top 50 golden age stars
We set out to investigate Brooke and Taylor Young but unfortunately we were not finding anything new. Understanding the times and knowing what they were doing was illegal the industry itself was running under an alias so nobody used their real names and it seems nobody ask. Which makes it almost impossible to follow up on anybody ‘s career in the industry. So we ask for help from Ashley West of The Rialto Report They said they were going to look into the Young twins 15 years ago but nobody then remembered their real names which is how they do their investigations. So we then contacted a couple of people that were actually there. Carter Stevens and Eric Edwards AKA Rob Everett they didn’t have much more to add to what we had already known but we felt it was important enough to add it to our post. A little new information is better than none at all right? So here we go from Miami Florida both twins were known to be stewardesses for a small southern airline on the east coast trips to New York and back to Florida. Taylor had entered the industry first with a part in the movie named Fanny or Video Dateline released in 1975. Then we see her a year later with Vanessa Del Rio in the movie Reunion released in 1976. This is where we believe she meets Carter Stevens. Taylor was introduced to Carter by Annie sprinkles AKA Ellen F Steinberg on a movie set that Carter was visiting. Carter said he didn’t remember which film it was so he didn’t know for sure if it was Reunion or not. Carter set up an interview two weeks later and during that interview he asked Taylor if she had anything special about her? A question that Carter has asked everyone. She said she had a twin sister. Cater then ask if her sister would be interested in making a movie together? She said she would ask so Taylor called her sister back in Florida and Brooke said yes. She had just been laid off from the airlines. Carter then got a script together and three weeks later they were ready to shoot Teenage Twins. It took one long weekend three days of shooting at Carter’s house. One of the story’s is on the set of Teenage Twins Rob Everett ask one of the twins out for a date and she said yes but after shooting he realizes he asked the wrong one. I asked Cater Stevens how did that turn out? he said (I think Rob took the wrong sister home that night but I don’t really remember if that happened and I don’t think he and the right twin ever got together). During an interview with Rob in 2017 he said (Both Twins lived with me for five days and we all shared my bed! And then, I kicked one of them out because she was high on ludes all time. Ruined my leather sofa with her monthly blood and no panties. The other one left a few days later). That was just after the making Teenage Twins. Rob said the girls were a real miss. Another story about the making of Teenage Twins Carter said sexually they were rather unschooled I remember Actress Mary Stuart came to tech both twins how to do a BJ. One rumor was that Brooke’s scenes were limited, that Taylor did most of the sex scenes but in an email Carter said Brook’s scenes were only limited in twins because she was supposed to be a virgin to the business but she did do several.

Two weeks later the twins went on to make the movie Sweet Cakes. Carter said the twins had made a number of loops together too. Everyone made loops during their down time and that was their bread and butter. In the end Taylor made 6 full movies and Brooke made 4 with her sister. Carter said they were in and out of the business in a blink of an eye. They left the business had to be early 1976 and didn’t come back until Carter went down to Florida to get Brooke out of jail for writing bad checks so they could make the movie Double your Pleasure in 1978. After finishing DYP Carter never seen them again. Then in 1981 they were in a cameo scene for a couple of seconds in Burt Reynold’s Cannon Ball Run in which they were not even credited for being in the movie. Carter had different reasons why the twins left in 1976 they didn’t want to make movies any more with each other to Brooke went back to flying and or had a boyfriend. He also said they were offered good money to come back but refused. He didn’t know what Taylor was doing after that. Carter said the girls didn’t have anything to do with each other than on film and may not have even gotten along. It was his idea to put twins together because it had never been done before. Carter said they were two very different personalities.

There’s another side to this story of just how the twins come to be in front of the camera. Retired Actor and Director Shaun Costello of the movie Cherry Hustlers released in 1977 in which both twins are in: Said that Steve Tucker (AKA) Ashley Moore (who has passed away now) and Sandy Reis drove down to Miami and called Shaun collect to tell him they found twins and they were very young. Steve tells the twins that he made movies and would make them stars. Steve says the twins were flat broke. Steve asked Shaun if he would use them and he said yes. Carter Stevens recalls things differently but this could have happened in 77 after the twins had already left New York after making Sweet cakes in 1976. Steve probably already heard or seen the twins in New York and drove down to get them. Shaun said he forgot the movie but one of the twins falls asleep during filming, something you just don’t do and they were hard to work with is what killed their career. The movie had to be Cherry Hustlers which they actually look like their sleeping during the shoot. One thing Shaun and Carter both agree on was that the twins drug consumption made the two sisters hard to work with. Shaun said Steve Tucker had introduced the twins to Quaaludes as part of his seduction routine and they were always seriously stoned. They were actually called the Quaalude Twins. Carter said the girls could actually fall asleep with a cigarette in their month and burn themselves. It wasn’t just the drug intake that made it hard working with twins but the unreliability is what killed the twins career. According to Shaun Costello had it not been for the drugs they could have parlayed their unique talents into some bucks they were just too much trouble. In the end the Twins do not get the credit that they deserve from what’s left of the industry even though the impact they have made on us. Thank you Brooke and Taylor where ever you are.

Ashley West of The Rialto Report in terms of the Young twin’s involvement in the industry, they were never really part of it. Their total screen time adds up to a short amount, they never mixed with anyone else, and they were hired for a small number of appearances on a novelty basis. They probably worked for five or six afternoons in total, and after that no one called them up anymore or they just moved away. With such a small number of appearances, they didn't support themselves doing films - it was just a quick way of earning some extra cash for drugs.

Thanks
