I believe Jon Dough didn't ever really recieved the recognition that was due to him.
I know porn acting is often sloppy and laughable but I don't think his acting was all that bad.
He was good looking, well endowed, good strong cumshot, toned muscular body, good head of hair (well ....in the early days!!!)
As far as his death ...yes, I heard that he hanged himself. Very sad way to go.
I read that he had a young daughter and like a lot of pornstars that dwell on their lives as they get older, maybe the thought of his daughter discovering that her father appeared in porn was too much for him to deal with.
