Playbirds and the like from the same stable, notably 'Whitehouse' and 'Lovebirds' were some of the first magazines in the UK magazine to openly show the 'held-open' pussy. Personally, I found this a tremendous turn-on and must have spent hundreds of pounds on mags at the time. I recall I bought issue 7 of Playbirds (which I always thought the best of the titles) and immediately ordered all the back numbers. Many times, the mags were disappointing, but sometimes delivered truly gaping pink, which did it for me and still does today.
