I have lived in the deep south of the United States all of my adult life and while I see and interact with lots of black folks almost every day I have never heard a single black person mention or make any reference to Blazing Saddles. Ever. Is it just verboten in the black community? Almost every white person I know has seen it at least once or at least heard of it.

A college level course revolving somehow around Blazing Saddles might be fun.
