It makes sense, imho. Sex education in schools does not teach deviations, and there's no reason minors should be taught about foot-fetishism, urine-sex etc...

But it infuriates some homosexuals, especially foreigners, because it also means they can't misuse events like Olympics to promote homo sex, and can't have homo parades like they do in the West

But they can still be as gay or fetishist as they like in Russia. There's no law against that
