This is the thing I'm going to find seriously odd with the next series- We're all used to having the hots for the female companions, but Ms Whitaker is pretty easy on the eye, and it's going to be a weird ride for a lot of guys to come to terms with fancying the Doctor

I guess given that they've already had to find a way around the 'there can only be 12 regenerations' thing, then you could maybe argue that for the 13th regeneration onwards, all bets are off as to what form the Doctor regenerates into, and it would only be a matter of time before a regeneration into female form happened...
