I still do this, even yesterday, was damn hot and we spent the day at the beach, driving home early afternoon it was still quite warm and it's not often I use the air con in the car, I like the windows down and have the warm breeze swirl through the car. Look at cars with kids in them and the windows are up, air con running while kids are on iPads or watching DVD's ....... I remember Dads cars .... no air con, vinyl seats, 38 degrees C and a push button AM radio that was maybe working
