It's really hard to get to grips with India on one hand it wants to embrace progress and is keen to attract Western money and on the other it is held back by retarded religious zealots of all kinds.
The authorities, such as they are, appear unable to get a grip on these fundamental religious bastards. Almost every day we hear of some truly savage attacks, underneath all that Bollywood bollocks the country is a backward cesspit of corruption and fanaticism.
