England won't win 'cos they faff around too much. Passing back, forward, sideways, back, sideways, back, forward, sideways, sideways, back, sideways, forward, back, sideways, sideways, back, etc. ad infinitum.

And they're too big-headed 'cos every time they beat footballing nobodies (as in most of this qualifying campaign) the press says "England are the best in the world, alll they've got to do is turn up, blah blah blah" and the public believes it.

The truth is, England have only ever been an average side who on one occasion won something. The rest of the time they can't even get to the final of a cup. If they were more than average they would've beaten Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina etc. on more than one occasion in actual competition, not qualifying rounds. They nearly beat Argentina, but shearer elbowed their goalie in the gob and caused the goal they (saul campbell?) got disallowed, and caused the game to go to penalties. And we all know how flippin' sheeeet they are at them. They never blast them in the bottom corner, like I tell 'em.

Why can't the fans sing proper football songs like the those the players hear every week? Why can't the fans sing "Abide with Me" and get the FA cup atmosphere going instead of singing either one verse of 'rule britannia' repeatedely, or the flippin' national anthem? These 'songs' have nothing to do with football, really.
