Its the same model used by so many

When clubs are allowed to run at a loss it undermines everyone else in the league that isnt
All the levels have the unequal playing field

You'd think any governing body would want all its members to be running sustainably
Apparently not in football

About their financials - from losses of 195,000 to regular 2Mil
Wage budget 500,000 - paid 1.8mil

Rather than the sugar daddy taking the hit the club has been raising funds via share issues

Reminds me of an energy business that asked all their employees if they'd like their super to be re-invested in the business - they naively agreed in the intoxicating good times and eventually the business went bad and they lost everything.

2015 - How can Forest Green Rovers be allowed to carry on losing millions of pounds?
