I honestly thought that West Ham could beat Liverpool, but I've never seen defenders that so resembled a bunch of traffic cones set out for dribbling practice as did the Hammers' defence

It's not over yet but it's been a disappointing season for me. An Arsenal vs Chelsea FA Cup Final (yawn), and total dominance by the big spenders. Everton have made a brave fist of trying to keep pace, but every non-relegated team from 8th place downwards have barely scraped the points needed to avoid the drop. How any of them can hope to do more than survive in this league is beyond me. I thought the increased tv revenues might level the playing field a bit but it seems to have gone the other way.
At least we get to see Arsenal in the Europa League next year if Liverpool don't screw it up against 'Boro.
