I don't know how many brain cells he (Rooney) has left, but surely he is intelligent enough to understand that as a professional footballer, and ESPECIALLY considering his body type and physique, that the last thing on Earth he should be doing is drinking alcohol?

It's just having some discipline, and making the most of whatever talent you have.

There are OTHER ways to blow off steam, you know. Save the drinking for after you retire.
